How it started

One duck changed everything.

A tiny surprise on my Jeep became a way to share joy.

Hi, I'm Kristen. After someone in my Middleton neighborhood “ducked” my Jeep, I couldn't stop thinking about how such a small act could create such a big smile.

That moment inspired Magical Duck Mom™: a playful project that sends cheerful ducks into the world. Some are hidden around our neighborhood for someone new to discover, while my Disney-inspired ducks travel with me through the Disney parks for playful photo adventures.

As a Travel Advisor with MickeyTravels, I help families plan Disney vacations from start to finish. Not at all! The idea began with a Jeep duck, but Magical Duck Mom is for everyone. Display your duck, photograph it, or re-hide it—whatever feels fun.

Can I keep a duck I find?+

Absolutely. Keep it as a happy souvenir, or let the kindness travel by hiding it somewhere new. There's no wrong way to enjoy the surprise.

Where are the ducks hidden?+

They pop up around community pools, parks, family-friendly spots, and other adventures. Ducks are always placed thoughtfully—never where they could create a safety issue or disturb a business.
